Description

Please join us for an elegant evening to celebrate this year’s Executive Leadership Award winners: Sachi Hamai (CEO of LA County), Dennis Gilmore (CEO of First American Title Company) and Ara Mahdessian (Co-Founder and CEO of Service Titan) for their leadership in the exceptional application of Information Technology and Innovation to drive value within their organizations.

Hosted by Frank Mottek of CBS’ KNX 1070 News Radio against the backdrop of the UCLA Campus, the evening will be graced by the who’s who of the Southern California technology community. Our honorees will share lessons learned and personal stories gained on the path leading to their individual inspirations and organization’s successes.

  • The evening will begin with our keynote speaker, Yvonne Wassenaar, CEO of Puppet, a digital and cloud services based company, will highlight the importance of digital relevancy in today's world. Amidst growing concerns with how modern technology could be used, Yvonne is championing it to drive a safer, more efficient and innovative planet.

  • Sachi Hamai will present the technology innovations achieved and planned at the County of Los Angeles. A champion of transformative change within local government, Sachi challenges the County to pursue innovation that delivers results in areas such as justice reform, immigrants’ rights, environmental health monitoring, and the well-being of children. Their Information Hub was established by the County CIO to create a holistic county client view, provide comprehensive client-centric information, establish a repository of countywide client profiles and service histories, and successfully enable access to client-centric information.

  • During his over 25-year tenure at First American, Dennis Gilmore has consistently emphasized the need to innovate, while deepening the partnership between the company’s business segments and information technology department. This year, a variety of First American’s technology initiatives are helping reduce risk, increase efficiency and improve the real estate transaction process, including eClosings, secure transaction portals, robotic processing automation implementation and the application of blockchain technology.

  • Founders Ara Mahdessian and Vahe Kuzoyan started ServiceTitan as a way to give back to their fathers, Armenian immigrants who worked as tradesmen to make a living for their families in America. Today, ServiceTitan is a $1.65B SaaS company that has disrupted a $400B industry by providing software to traditionally underserved blue collar workers and small business owners. Investing in the community is just as important to ServiceTitan’s founders. With an all-star team — many of whom are UCLA graduates — ServiceTitan partners closely with UCLA’s undergrad and master’s programs to educate, mentor, and provide future career opportunities.

RSVP now for this ‘not-to-be missed’ celebration of Southern California's technological and entrepreneurial innovation.

Cohesity ushers in a new era in data management that solves a critical challenge facing businesses today: mass data fragmentation. The vast majority of enterprise data — backups, archives, file shares, object stores, and data used for dev/test and analytics — sits in fragmented infrastructure silos that makes it hard to protect, expensive to manage, and difficult to analyze. Cohesity consolidates silos onto one web-scale platform, spanning on-premises, cloud, and the edge, and uniquely empowers organizations to run apps on that platform — making it easier than ever to back up and extract insights from data. Cohesity is a 2019 CNBC Disruptor and was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. Visit our website and blog, follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn and like us on Facebook.
